Good location to go to skii and visit Biwa lake

Breadfast is not good at all. Many dish but I think the taste need to improve.

The hotel is an easy, flat, three minute walk from the station. Check-in and check-out were automated and fast. The front office staff were welcoming and helpful. The staff at breakfast were super-efficient and pleasant.

Everything was good.

Close proximity to the train station, and a car rental establishment is next door. Rooms are clean and sizable. Free breakfast, but if the hotel is full, the lineup can be crazy.

There isn't any konbini next to it, so you have to at least walk to the train station for some supplies. No restaurants next to the hotel, have to go to the station area.

Location overall and proximity to hakone station. Daiso and market just up the road. Good products for skin care and hair care. Great hot water and size of tub.

The bed was hard. The front desk were nice but basically did the least to communicate with foreigners. Did not notice the 24 hour plug until one hour before check out and i left with my phone and power bank not charged at all. Something might be wrong with the outlets. Food was okay.

Great place to rest for 1-2 Days if you want to visit Hikone and other places around.Very friendly staff. Everything really clean.Great location 5 minutes by foot away from Hikone Station.

The rooms are small but not really a big problem.You can hear other guests because of the thin walls but its normally really quiet.

The rooms are larger than average, and for a single night the amenities seemed to be as expected. The TV had a couple programs available in English as well. The shower was sufficiently hot for anyone.

The bed and pillows were both very hard. This may be perfect for some, but I prefer a softer bed. The complimentary breakfast was adequate but not special. Coffee was plentiful, but only drip coffee was available.

The location was in a really good spot close to the castle and the other main attractions in Hikone like Castle Road. It was affordable.

The bed was on the hard side, and the bean-filled pillows were unfortunately not very comfortable. When inside the room with the door closed we could hear every word of the conversations had by other guests in the hallway. At midnight when the person above us decided to shower, we heard all of that noise as well. Lastly, the breakfast was pretty lackluster and it almost seemed like they used powdered eggs instead of real eggs.

Good value hotel with everything you need & breakfast included.

Very busy on a Sunday at breakfast so a bit chaotic but it still worked.

Breakfast was surprisingly great. The proximity to the train station and to nearby restaurants turned out to be perfect.

They made us pay for towels. Pillows felt like they were stuffed with cardboard,

The Hotel wasn't too far from the station, rooms were clean and they had free breakfast. The staff that dealt with the breakfast was nice.

The staff at the front desk was very unfriendly. They didn't say hello or tried to put on a smile when I entered, although 3 people literally stoof there with nothing else to do. When I did the Checkin at the machine. One of them stood right next to me, didn't say anything and just starred uncomfortably, as did the other two. No one explained anything about the hotel, like where to find the amenities or escalator. I didn't feel welcome AT ALL. If they were scared, because I'm a foreigner and they didn't speak English: Other hotel staff deals with that as well. And assuming no foreigner speaks japanese isn't professional as well. The room was OK, but you heard every movement of the people in neighbouring rooms as the walls creaked loudly, so it was hard to find sleep. The mattress is hard, so if you don't like that, it should be taken into consideration.

It was clean.

The bed was stiff as a board. They provide pajamas, which were essentially a hospital gown. Not particularly comfortable. Institutional and functional. It was cheap, but not particularly cheaper than nicer more comfortable hotels.

Great breakfast included. Spacious bathroom compared to all the other places we have stayed. Pillows could be less hard but otherwise fine. All in all a great place to stay!

Couldn’t connect Netflix to tv.

Location was great - easy to get to and from the station.

Breakfast seemed chaotic as there were multiple school sports teams staying. With a bit more organisation they could have staggered the meal times so it was easier for other guests.The 4pm check-in was later than other places we've found and was rather inconvenient.

Staff, very helpful and friendly. Pleasant to talk to. Room is good sized and comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning and there is good amount of food and selection.The eating space is also really good sized.

The bread for breakfast was delicious, and drinking fountain is available in the lobby on the ground floor.

The toilet in the room smells a bit and the bed and pillows are a bit hard.

When I checked in I used the machine with the help of a staff member (who looked like he might be the manager) who was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel rate comes with buffet breakfast which was not bad (although there was no butter to go with the breads); good value for money on the whole

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the station and being close to the tracks it is a bit noisy. There were no more non-smoking rooms when I was making the booking so I had a smoking room that of course smelled of smoke although I wish there had been effort to rid the room of the smell after each smoking guest checks out

The location is near the station. Room size is quite spacious for Japanese standards. The breakfast is good and tasty, for this price level getting breakfast included is an absolute steal. They have coin laundry too. Amenities always available to self pick up at the lobby.

Nothing. This hotel exceeded my expectations.

Location is close to the station. They have their own parking under the building. Friendly staff, English ok. Close to good restaurants. Supermarket on the other side of the street.

Beds have hard mattresses.
